Let’s design tiny robot sidekicks — the sort that would sit on your desk, follow you around, or dramatically beep whenever you make tea incorrectly. The twist: your robot must be useful, but it also needs one absolutely ridiculous flaw.
Examples from the sacred manual of questionable engineering:
A robot that organises your cables perfectly… but judges every charger you own.
A pocket-sized assistant that remembers all your appointments… but announces them like a wrestling commentator.
A cleaning bot that removes dust flawlessly… unless it sees glitter, at which point it declares war.
Mine would be called Scribble-9000: it helps write ideas, names files properly, and reminds you where you saved things. Unfortunately, it panics whenever someone says “final_final_REALLY_final.docx.”
What would your tiny robot sidekick do, and what wonderfully annoying flaw would it have? 🔧
